Montreat Conference Center is one of three national conference centers affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), annually visited by over 35,000 people seeking physical and spiritual renewal in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. For over 100 years, it has been a place set apart for those who journey there seeking a closer relationship with their Creator. During the year, Montreat offers numerous educational opportunities that appeal to different ages and interests: 6 youth conferences, 40 conferences and programs for pastors and committed lay people, 10 weeks of Road Scholar Programs, and weekly summer Sunday worship services. In line with its mission statement, the Center promises that those who visit there “encounter God through relationships, renewal, recreation, and rest.” Reports following visits to Montreat have proved this to be a true statement.

Each summer, high school youth at RPC journey together to Montreat for a fun week of meeting other young people, engaging in programs that enable them to grow spiritually, and enjoying the natural beauty of the area and its many recreational opportunities.
