Frequently Asked Questions
The pastor, staff, and congregation of Rockledge Presbyterian Church welcome all who are new to the church! Whether you are visiting for a Sunday worship service or attending one of the classes or special events offered here, we want you to feel at home. To ensure this, we will do our best to help you find your way and your place here. Here are answers to questions that may prove helpful:
Where is RPC?
Rockledge Presbyterian Church is located at 921 Rockledge Drive in Rockledge, Florida. Overlooking the Indian River, RPC is found on the corner of Orange Avenue and Rockledge Drive. It is off US 1, east of Rockledge Regional Hospital (formerly Wuesthoff) and minutes away from Cocoa and Viera.
Where can I park my car?
Parking is available surrounding the church. On the north side, across the street from the primary entrance to the Narthex and Sanctuary, is an unpaved lot; on the south side across the street from the church office is a paved lot. Along Orange Avenue, Valencia Avenue, and Rockledge Drive, there is street parking. Handicapped spaces are reserved in both lots and on Orange Avenue. If a wheelchair is needed to assist entry to the church, speak to a greeter or an usher. Access a map of the RPC campus here.
Is RPC accessible?
Yes! There is a paved area near the breezeway on the south side for drop-offs. There are no steps to maneuver at entrances on the south and west sides; steps and a ramp provide access to the north entrance. In case of a vision problem, ask ushers for a large print bulletin when entering the Sanctuary.
What should I wear to worship?
Come as you are, and you will be welcome. On Sundays, you will see some women in dresses, some men in coats and ties; others will be more casual in slacks, open shirts, jeans, shorts.
