Summer is a wonderful part of childhood, a time to play outdoors, to explore, to learn, and to connect with new friends. Owned by the Presbytery of St. Augustine, Camp Montgomery was established in 1957 on 167 wooded acres bearing three beautiful spring-fed lakes. Offering many different camping/educational programs and types of recreation, Montgomery has become a favorite destination each summer for RPC’s children. A few of our young adults loved it so much that they returned years later to work as camp counselors and leaders! Few places provide such a unique, caring environment, rich with opportunities for children to discover their faith in a supportive Christian community.

Throughout the year, parents and children engage in different fund-raising projects at the church to offset travel costs, and, as a result, many children are able to benefit from this wonderful experience.  If interested, you will find more information about the current program at the Camp Montgomery link and by contacting the chair for the Christian Education Committee.
